On July 29, 2023, Archpriest Anatoly Kuznetsov, a priest of the UOC (in unity with the moscow patriarchate), appealed to Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar with a request to be accepted into the clergy of the Vinnytsia-Bar Diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. The priest also conveyed to the Metropolitan a request to join the autocephalous Orthodox Church of Ukraine from his parishioners from the villages of Mykhailivka and Zhabelivka in Vinnytsia district.
