On July 5, 2023, on the anniversary of the repose of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr (Sabodan), Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Transfiguration Cathedral of Vinnytsia. His Eminence was concelebrated by the priests of the cathedral. During the service, prayers were offered for Ukraine's victory over the Russian aggressor.
During the Liturgy, Metropolitan Symeon ordained to the rank of presbyter Deacon Igor Lukashenko and to the rank of deacon Serhiy Basenko.
After the Liturgy, the Archpastor addressed the parishioners with a sermon.
