On June 28, at the invitation of Bishop Leon Dubravsky, Ordinary of the Diocese of Kamianets-Podilskyi of the Roman Catholic Church, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Bishop Leon's ordination to the episcopal dignity. The celebrations took place at the Cathedral of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Kamianets-Podilskyi.
After the solemn Mass, Metropolitan Symeon congratulated Bishop Leon on behalf of the Council of Churches and Religious Organizations of Vinnytsia Region. The Metropolitan noted the constructive and fruitful cooperation of the Orthodox and Roman Catholic communities in the Vinnytsia region in various cultural, charitable and socially-educational projects, including those dedicated to preserving the family and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Metropolitan Symeon noted the personal role of Bishop Leon in the development of such cooperation. The Metropolitan wished the Bishop good health and God's help in his good deeds.
Together with Metropolitan Symeon, Metropolitan Roman of Vinnytsia and Bratslav represented the Vinnytsia Regional Council of Churches at the celebration. Bishop Pavel of Khmelnytsky and Kamyanets-Podilsky and Bishop Anthony of Chernihiv and Nizhyn were also among the guests. The head of the Vinnytsia Regional Council, Vyacheslav Sokolovyi, and the head of the Department for Nationalities and Religions of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, Ihor Saletskyi, congratulated Bishop Leon.
