On July 24, 2023, on the day of memory of Equal-to-the-Apostles Blessed Great Princess of Kyiv Olga, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar, together with the clergy, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Transfiguration Cathedral in Vinnytsia. During the service, a prayer was offered for the victory of the Ukrainian army over the Russian aggressor.
After the service, the Archpastor addressed the parishioners with words of archpastoral sermon and congratulated the women who named after St. Olga on their name day.
The deacon proclaimed the many years of life to the celebrants, as well as to the abbess of the Vinnytsia Convent of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother Yelikonida, who was elevated to the rank of abbess two years ago on the day of the memory of St. Olga the Equal-to-the-Apostles.
