On November 25, 2023, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar, after the evening service, together with the clergy, performed a memorial service at the Transfiguration Cathedral of Vinnytsia.
After the service, Metropolitan Symeon addressed the parishioners and called on them to continue to pray for all those who innocently died in the terrible torments of the famine organized in Ukraine by the godless Communist authorities in 1932-33, as well as the massive man-made famines of 1921-1923 and 1946-1947.
