On December 6, 2023, on the day of commemoration of St. Nicholas, with the blessing of Metropolitan Oleksandr of Pereyaslav and Vyshneve, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Monastery in the village of Dunkovytsia of the Kamianske village community of the Berehove district of the Zakarpattia region. The monastery is directly subordinate to His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine. With the blessing of the Primate of the OCU, Metropolitan Oleksandr of Pereyaslav and Vyshneve was appointed to provide pastoral care for the monastery.
His Eminence was concelebrated by the Abbot of the monastery, Archimandrite Cyril Mandzych, local clergy and clergy of the Pereyaslav-Vyshneve Diocese. During the service, a prayer was offered for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a quick victory over the russian occupiers.
After the service, Metropolitan Symeon congratulated the Abbot, clergy and faithful on the holiday and on the Anniversary of the consecration of the main church of the Monastery.
