On December 15, 2023, on the occasion of the Fifth Anniversary of the Unification Council, a thanksgiving prayer service was held at the Transfiguration Cathedral in Vinnytsia. The service was led by Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar. During the service, the Hierarch, priests and faithful prayed for the further development and prosperity of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. At the end of the prayer service, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanius, the bishops, clergy and all the faithful were greeted with a "Mnohaya Lita" (Many Years). Metropolitan Symeon congratulated everyone on the 5th anniversary of the Council and, as a direct participant, spoke about the significance of this historic event.
With the blessing of the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanius of Kyiv and All Ukraine, Metropolitan Symeon awarded Serhiy Buravel, a long-time parishioner of the Cathedral who has supported the OCU from the very beginning and has been engaged in charitable activities and helps the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the medal "For Sacrifice and Love for Ukraine".
