On January 6, 2024, on the feast of the Baptism of the Lord, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar led a festive late Divine Liturgy at the Transfiguration Cathedral of Vinnytsia. His Eminence was concelebrated by Archpriest Ioan Drozd, Archpriest Vasyl Korovai, Archdeacon Vladyslav Demchenko and Deacon Stepan Kovalchuk. During the Liturgy, prayers were offered for the Ukrainian army.
After the service, Metropolitan Symeon and the clergy performed the rite of the Great Blessing of Water. At the end of the rite, the the Archpastor and priests sprinkled holy water on the parishioners who came to the Cathedral that day to pray and ask for God's blessing.
The early Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Archpriest Dymytriy Pylyn and Archdeacon Serhiy Boyarsky.
