On April 21, 2024, on the 5th Sunday of Great Lent and the day of memory of St. Mary of Egypt, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great at the Transfiguration Cathedral in Vinnytsia. His Eminence was concelebrated by Archpriest Vitaliy Holoskevych, Archpriest Ioan Drozd, Archpriest Serhii Livonchuk and Protodeacon Vladyslav Demchenko. During the service, a prayer was offered for the victory of Ukraine and the Ukrainian army.
After the Liturgy, Metropolitan Symeon preached a sermon and congratulated the parishioners on receiving the Holy Mysteries of Christ.
