On April 28, 2024, on the feast of the Lord's Entry into Jerusalem, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated a festive Divine Liturgy at the Transfiguration Cathedral of Vinnytsia. His Eminence was concelebrated by Archpriest Vitaliy Holoskevych, Archpriest Ioan Drozd, and Protodeacon Vladyslav Dnmchenko. During the service, a prayer was offered for Ukraine and the victory of the Ukrainian army.
After the Liturgy, the Archpastor addressed the faithful with a sermon and congratulated everyone on the holiday. In conclusion, the Metropolitan and the priests sprinkled willow branches, which are traditionally blessed by Orthodox Christians on this day.
