On the eve of the Day of the Medical Worker, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar congratulated the Director of the Podil Regional Oncology Center, Serhiy Peregonchuk, on his professional holiday. In his person, the hierarch thanked all the staff of the Center for returning health and life to many people. Metropolitan Symeon called the doctors themselves people from God, because, as he noted, God Himself works miracles with the hands of doctors and restores health and life in the most difficult cases. Metropolitan Symeon presented Serhiy Peregonchuk with an icon of the Holy Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon, whose feast day is now celebrated in Ukraine as a professional holiday for doctors, as a blessing.
