On September 23, 2024, on the feast of the Conception of the Honorable Glorious Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist John, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar visited the village of Velyki Kruslintsy, Vinnytsia district. The Archpastor celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the local church in honor of the Conception of the Prophet and Forerunner of the Lord John.
Metropolitan Symeon was concelebrated by the priests of the Vinnytsia District Deanery led by Dean Archimandrite Dorofei (Markevych) and clergy of the Transfiguration Cathedral in Vinnytsia. During the service, prayers were offered for the Ukrainian army and Ukraine's victory in the war against the Russian aggressor.
After the Liturgy, a procession around the church and a prayer service were held. Afterward, Metropolitan Symeon delivered a sermon and congratulated the Rector of the church, Archpriest Marian Nester, and the parishioners on the Patronal Feast. In turn, Father Marian thanked His Eminence for the visit and the archpastoral guidance and prayers.
