On the feast day of the Beheading of the head of the prophet, Forerunner, and Baptist John, on August 30, 2023, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Transfiguration Cathedral in Vinnytsia. His Eminence was concelebrated by the cathedral priests.
During the service, a prayer was read for the Ukrainian army and Ukraine's victory over the russian aggressor.
After the completion of the Liturgy, Metropolitan Symeon addressed the parishioners with an sermon and congratulated them on the holiday.
