On December 8, 2023, on the eve of the Feast of the Icon of the Mother of God "Unexpected Joy" and the commemoration of the conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary by the righteous Anna, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar performed an evening service with the polyeleos at the Transfiguration Cathedral of Vinnytsia. The Archpastor was concelebrated by Archpriest Viacheslav Budanevych, Archpriest Vasyl Korovai, Archpriest Dymytriy Pylyn, Archdeacon Vladyslav Demchenko, and Archdeacon Serhiy Boyarsky. After the polyeleos, Metropolitan Symeon addressed the parishioners with a sermon and anointed them with holy oil.
