Archpastor celebrates Liturgy at St. Michael's Church in Mizhlissia village

On the feast day of the Icon of the Mother of God "Quickly Hearing" and the feast day of St. Nectarius of Aegina, November 8, 2024, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Mizhlissia village, Zhmerynka district. His Eminence was concelebrated by the Rector of the church, priest Rostyslav Senych, and the local clergy.

During the Small Entrance, Metropolitan Symeon conferred liturgical awards on the Rector of the church, Priest Rostislav Senich, with the right to wear a cassock and a kamilavka, and Priest Tarasiy Zadorozhny with the right to wear a cassock.

During the service, a prayer was offered for the Ukrainian army and the victory of Ukraine.

After the service and the cross procession around the church, Metropolitan Symeon delivered a sermon. The Archpastor congratulated Father Rostyslav and the parishioners on the Patronal Feast of the church, which they had celebrated the day before.
