On December 10, 2023, St. Nicholas Day was celebrated at the Sunday School of the Transfiguration Cathedral of Vinnytsia. The Sunday school teacher, Mother Natalia Kremenyuk, together with her assistants from the Children's Choir, prepared an interesting story about St. Nicholas for the Sunday school students, as well as several mini-performances about his life, spiritual deeds and the help that the Saint provides to people in various difficult situations.
In addition, there were many contests and competitions with prizes and gifts for the participants. Songs and carols were performed. Parents, as well as Metropolitan Symeon and the priests of the Cathedral who came to the celebration, took an active part in the festivities.
Traditionally, the guests came to the children with gifts. Metropolitan Symeon handed out sweets to the Sunday school students, as well as small figurines of St. Nicholas, which will remind the children of the holiday and its cheerful and joyful celebration in their home church.
