Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral

On the day of commemoration of the Apostles Bartholomew and Barnabas and St. Luke of Crimea, June 11, 2024, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Transfiguration Cathedral in Vinnytsia. The service was led by Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar. His Eminence was concelebrated by Archpriest Viacheslav Budanevych, Archpriest Dymytriy Pylyn and Archdeacon Vladyslav Demchenko. During the service, prayers were offered for the victory of Ukraine and the Ukrainian army. Special prayer requests were offered for His All-Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople, who celebrates the Naym Day on this day.

After the service, Metropolitan Symeon addressed the clergy and parishioners with a sermon.

During the Liturgy, an icon with a part of the relics of St. Luke was in the church.
