On September 15, 2024, on the 12th Sunday after Pentecost, after the Exaltation, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Transfiguration Cathedral in Vinnytsia. His Eminence was concelebrated by Archimandrite Sofronii (Chupryna), Archpriest Vasyl Korovai, Archpriest Dymytrii Pylyn, Priest Antonin Melnyk, Protodeacon Vladyslav Demchenko and Deacon Yurii Hlushchuk. During the service, a prayer was offered for the Ukrainian army and Ukraine's victory over the Russian aggressor.
After the service, the Metropolitan addressed the parishioners with a sermon. Also, with the blessing of the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine, Metropolitan Simeon awarded Archpriest Vitaliy Goloskevych, with the Order of the Archangel Michael, II degree, for his work for the good of the Church and on the occasion of his 50th birthday.
