On July 31, 2024, on the eve of the Feast of the Procession of the Honourable Wood of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord and the Day of Remembrance of the Holy Martyrs Maccabean, the Transfiguration Cathedral of Vinnytsia celebrated the statutory service with the rite of the Procession of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord.
The service was led by Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar, and concelebrated by the clergy of the Cathedral, led by Archpriest Vitaliy Goloskevych. After the service and worship before the Holy Cross, the Archpastor anointed the parishioners with holy oil.
