On December 26, 2023, on the feast day of the Council of the Most Holy Theotokos, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Skete of the Vinnytsia Holy Annunciation Convent in the village of Miziakivska Slobidka, Khmilnyk district. The service was held in the Church of St. Mary Magdalene. The Metropolitan was concelebrated by priests of the Vinnytsia-Bar Diocese.
During the service, prayers were offered for Ukraine's victory over the russian aggressor.
At the end of the Liturgy and prayer service, His Eminence Simeon congratulated the Abbess of the convent, Mother Elikonida (Voevoda), the sisters of the convent and all those present on the feast of the Nativity of Christ.
