Funeral services on the memorial Saturday of the 4th week of Great Lent

On the memorial Saturday of the 4th week of Great Lent, March 29, 2025, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Transfiguration Cathedral of Vinnytsia. His Eminence was concelebrated by the cathedral priests. During the Liturgy, funeral prayers were offered for the deceased archpastors and pastors, for the Ukrainian military who fell on the battlefields for the Motherland, as well as for civilians who died from the Russian occupiers.

After the Liturgy, Metropolitan Symeon and the clergy held a memorial service. The Archpastor also addressed the congregation with a sermon and called for constant prayer for their departed relatives and friends, as well as for the fallen defenders of Ukraine and civilians.
