On May 4, 2024, on Great Saturday, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated Vespers with the Liturgy of St. Basil the Great at the Transfiguration Cathedral of Vinnytsia. His Eminence was concelebrated by the clergy of the Cathedral. During the service, prayers were offered for the victory of the Ukrainian army.
After the Liturgy, Metropolitan Symeon, according to the Church's regulations, blessed bread and wine. The Metropolitan preached a sermon and congratulated all those who prayed during the service on Great Saturday.
He also blessed the Easter offerings of the faithful.
We remind you that the blessing of the Easter offerings will be performed on May 4 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., as well as on May 5, starting at 8 a.m.
