On 26 September 2023, on the feast day of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church of the the Image Not-Made By-Hands of the Lord Jesus Christ in the village of Dereshova of the Murovokurylovetska territorial community of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi district. His Eminence was concelebrated by Archpriest Oleksandr Kazmirov, Dean of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi District, Archpriest Volodymyr Hronskyi, Rector of the church, and representatives of the clergy from Vinnytsia.
During the liturgy, prayers were offered for Ukraine and the victory of the Ukrainian army.
The Liturgy was followed by a prayer service to St John the Theologian. Metropolitan Symeon congratulated the clergy and parishioners on the holiday and addressed the congregation with an Archpastoral Sermon.
