On April 27, 2024, on Lazarus Saturday, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of St. Makarii Ovrutskyi of the Annunciation Convent in Vinnytsia. His Eminence was concelebrated by priests of the Vinnytsia-Bar Diocese. During the Liturgy, prayers were offered for the Ukrainian army.
During the service, Metropolitan Symeon ordained deacon Yuriy Hlushchuk.
After the service, Metropolitan Symeon preached a sermon and congratulated the Abbess of the Convent, Abbess Elykonida, the sisters and the parishioners on the anniversary of the consecration of the church.
