On September 2, 2024, at the invitation of the Rector of Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University Natalia Lazarenko, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year.
Among the guests of honor were Natalia Zabolotna, First Deputy Head of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration, and Iryna Borzova, Member of Parliament. The honored guests congratulated the teachers and first-year students on the holiday.
Metropolitan Symeon addressed the future teachers with a welcoming speech and wished them strength, inspiration and God's help in mastering science, which will help them to become teachers themselves and educate children and youth - the future of Ukraine.
The Archpastor also read a prayer before the start of classes and blessed the students.
