On May 7, 2024, on the Holy Tuesday and the feast of the Iberian Icon of the Mother of God, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in the village of Cherepashyntsi, Khmelnytskyi district.
His Eminence was concelebrated by clergymen of the Vinnytsia-Bar and Vinnytsia-Tulchyn dioceses. During the service, prayers were offered for the victory of Ukraine.
After the liturgy, a procession around the church was held.
Having completed the prayers, Metropolitan Symeon addressed the audience with an archpastoral sermon. The Metropolitan congratulated the Rector of the church, Priest Yuriy Voloshchuk, on his 25th birthday. The Archpastor also presented the benefactors of the parish with blessed certificates of the Primate of the OCU and certificates of the Vinnytsia-Bar Diocese.
The service ended with a solemn Many blessed years.
