On February 9, 2025, the Sunday of the Publican and Pharisee, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the late Divine Liturgy at the Transfiguration Cathedral of Vinnytsia. His Eminence was concelebrated by Archpriest Vitaliy Holoskevych, Archpriest Vasyl Korovai, Protodeacon Vladyslav Demchenko and Deacon Volodymyr Andrienko. During the service, prayers were offered for Ukraine's victory.
At the end of the service, Metropolitan Symeon delivered a sermon in which he revealed the spiritual significance of the parable of the Publican and the Pharisee and emphasized the importance of the preparatory period for Lent.
On this day, the early Liturgy was celebrated at the Cathedral by Archpriest John Drozd, Protodeacon Serhiy Boyarsky and Deacon Dymytriy Paliy.
