On August 12, 2023, the day of the memory of the Holy Martyr John the Warrior, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Transfiguration Cathedral of Vinnytsia. His Eminence was concelebrated by the clergy of the cathedral. During the service, a prayer was offered for Ukraine's victory over the russian aggressor.
After the Liturgy, a prayer service was held to the holy martyr John the Warrior in front of the icon with a part of his holy relics. Metropolitan Symeon addressed the congregation with a sermon.
