On December 2, 2023, on the feast day of the Holy Martyr Porfirije, Bishop of Simferopol and St. Alexy of Karpatorusk, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Transfiguration Cathedral in Vinnytsia. His Eminence was concelebrated by Archpriest Vitaliy Holoskevych, Archimandrite Sofroniy (Chupryna), Archpriest Dymytriy Pylyn and Protodeacon Vladyslav Demchenko.
During the service, prayer requests were offered for the victory of the Ukrainian army.
