Metropolitan Symeon celebrates Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Ternopil Diocese on the occasion of the Patronal Feast

On May 21, 2024, on the day of remembrance of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles King Constantine and his mother Queen Helen, at the invitation of Metropolitan Nestor of Ternopil and Kremenets, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar visited the Ternopil Diocese of the OCU. The Archpastor led the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral, which is being built in honor of Saints Constantine and Helen. His Eminence was concelebrated by Metropolitan Joasaph of Ivano-Frankivsk and Halych, Metropolitan Nestor of Ternopil and Kremenets, Archbishop Pavlo of Ternopil and Terebovlia, Archbishop Tikhon of Ternopil and Buchach, Archbishop Agapit of Vyshhorod, Archbishop Pavlo of Khmelnytsky and Shepetiv, local clergy and guests in the holy orders.

During the service, prayer requests were made for the soldiers defending Ukraine and for a just peace.

The festive service ended with a solemn prayer service. Metropolitan Symeon congratulated Bishop Nestor and the faithful on the Patronal Feast of the Cathedral and wished God's help in its construction.
