Metropolitan Symeon celebrates Liturgy in the Church of the Holy Martyrs Vira, Nadiya and Lyubov

On September 17, the feast day of the Holy Martyrs Vira, Nadiya, Lyubov and their mother Sophia, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church in honor of these saints, located on the territory of the Gostevia hotel complex near Vinnytsia. His Eminence was concelebrated by the clergy of the Transfiguration Cathedral, led by Archpriest Vitaliy Holoskevych, who is the Rector of the church.

During the Liturgy, prayers were offered for Ukraine and the victory of the Ukrainian army. The service was followed by a religious procession around the church and a prayer service to the holy martyrs, during which prayer requests were made for the women who have their names.

Metropolitan Symeon congratulated all those present on the patronal feast and delivered an archpastoral sermon. Finally, the Archpastor congratulated the founder of the church, Nadiia Hladko, on her name day and presented her with icons and a bouquet of flowers.
