On July 22, 2024, on the feast day of St. Mary Magdalene, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church dedicated to this saint in the village of Chernivtsi, Mohyliv-Podilskyi district. His Eminence was concelebrated by clergymen of the Vinnytsia-Bar Diocese. During the service, a local choir and a choir from Vinnytsia sang. During the Liturgy, Metropolitan Symeon said a prayer for Ukraine and the victory of the Ukrainian army.
At the end of the service, a prayer service to St. Mary Magdalene was held.
At the end of the solemn service, His Eminence addressed the clergy and laity with an archpastoral sermon. Metropolitan Symeon also congratulated the Rector, Archpriest Pavlo Podyuchenko, and his parishioners on the Patronal Feast. After the greetings, the Archpastor awarded active believers of the parish with certificates. Archpriest Pavlo Podyuchenko, in turn, thanked Metropolitan Symeon for his archpastoral visit and prayers.
