On February 25, 2024, on the Sunday of the Publican and Pharisee, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Transfiguration Cathedral in Vinnytsia. His Eminence was concelebrated by m Archpriest Vitaliy Holoskevych, Archpriest Vasyl Korovai, Archpriest Dymytriy Pylyn, and Arcdeacon Vladyslav Demchenko. During the service, prayers were offered for Ukraine's victory.
At the end of the service, Metropolitan Symeon delivered a sermon in which he revealed the spiritual significance of the parable of the tax collector and the Pharisee and emphasized the importance of the preparatory period for Lent.
