On December 5, 2023, on the feast day of St. Sava the Blessed, at the invitation of Bishop Kirill of Uzhhorod and Khust, Metropolitan Simeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Three Saints, located in Uzhhorod Castle.
Metropolitan Symeon was concelebrated by Archbishop Agapit of Vyshhorod, Bishop Cyril of Uzhhorod and Khust, Bishop Varsonofiy of Uzhhorod and Zakarpattia, and local clergy.
During the service, prayers were offered for the Ukrainian army and victory over the russian aggressor.
After the Liturgy, Metropolitan Symeon congratulated Bishop Kirill on his 60th birthday and on behalf of the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanius of Kyiv and All Ukraine, presented him with the Order of the Archangel Michael. Metropolitan Symeon wished the jubilee God's help in his archpastoral ministry and long life and presented him with a bouquet of flowers.
