Metropolitan Symeon congratulated the soldiers on the anniversary of the formation of their military unit

On June 27, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar, at the invitation of the command of a military unit, took part in the celebrations dedicated to the anniversary of its establishment.

Before the celebrations began, the attendees observed a minute of silence in memory of their fallen comrades and all the fallen defenders of Ukraine.

Then, the command and government officials delivered greetings. Metropolitan Symeon also addressed the command and personnel of the unit with a welcoming speech. The Archpastor also thanked the soldiers for their courage and bravery in defending their Motherland from russian aggression. Metropolitan Symeon wished the soldiers strength and God's help to continue to defend their Motherland and win victory for Ukraine.

After the greeting, Metropolitan Symeon read prayers for the soldiers and for Ukraine and sprinkled holy water on all those present.

After the ceremony, the guests and personnel of the military unit had the opportunity to watch a concert program prepared by the military themselves and with the participation of Honored Artist of Ukraine Oleksiy Rychko.

During his visit to the military unit, Metropolitan Symeon got acquainted with the progress of the chapel being built on the territory of the military unit.
