Metropolitan Symeon holds an All-Night Vigil on the eve of Forgiveness (Cheesefare) Sunday

On March 16, 2024, on the eve of Forgiveness Sunday, also called Cheesefare Sunday, the commemoration of the expulsion of Adam and Eve from Paradise and the day of memory of St. Alexy, the man of God, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar held an All-Night Vigil at the Transfiguration Cathedral of Vinnytsia. The Archpastor was concelebrated by the clergy of the cathedral, led by Archpriest Vitaliy Holoskevych. After the polyeleos, Metropolitan Symeon addressed the clergy and faithful with an archpastoral word, in which he called for worthy fruits of repentance and intensified prayerfulness during the days of Great Lent. During the service, the faithful had the opportunity to prayerfully venerate the icon with a part of the relics of St. Alexei, the man of God.
