Metropolitan Symeon leads a Polyeleos Service on the eve of the memory of St. John Chrysostom

On January 26, 2024, on the eve of the commemoration of the transfer of the relics of St. John Chrysostom to Constantinople, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated an evening service with a polyeleos at the Transfiguration Cathedral of Vinnytsia. Archimandrite Sofronii (Chupryna), Archpriest Dymytrii Pylyn, Priest Stepan Kovalchuk and Archdeacon Serhii Boyarskyi concelebrated with the Metropolitan. After the service, the Archpastor delivered a sermon and blessed the parishioners through the anointing of the Holy Oil. During the service, the faithful had the opportunity to prayerfully venerate the icon with a part of St. John's relics.
