The Nativity of Christ. Festive services at the Cathedral

On December 25, 2023, on the feast of the Nativity of Christ, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar led a festive late Divine Liturgy at the Transfiguration Cathedral of Vinnytsia. His Eminence was concelebrated by Archpriest John Drozd, Archpriest Dymytriy Pylyn, and Archdeacon Vladyslav Demchenko.

During the Liturgy, prayers were offered for the victory of the Ukrainian army.

After the Gospel reading, Archpriest John Drozd read the Christmas message of the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanius of Kyiv and All Ukraine.

After the Liturgy, in front of the icon of the Nativity of Christ, the priests, led by the Metropolitan, performed a rite of glorification.

Metropolitan Symeon congratulated the parishioners on the holiday and wished peace, love and harmony from the Born Lord Jesus Christ.

The early festive Liturgy was celebrated by the Cathedral's Administrator, Archpriest Vitaliy Holoskevych, Archpriest Vasyl Korovai, and Archdeacon Serhiy Boyarsky.
