On December 25, 2024, on the feast of the Nativity of Christ, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar led a festive Divine Liturgy at the Transfiguration Cathedral in Vinnytsia. His Eminence was concelebrated by Archpriest Vitaliy Goloskevych, Archpriest John Drozd, Archpriest Dymytriy Pylyn, Archdeacon Vladyslav Demchenko and Deacon Volodymyr Andrienko. During the Liturgy, prayers were offered for the victory of the Ukrainian army.
After the Gospel reading, Archpriest Vitaliy Goloskevych read the Christmas message of the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine.
After the Liturgy, in front of the icon of the Nativity of Christ, the priests led by the Metropolitan performed a rite of glorification.
Metropolitan Symeon congratulated the parishioners on the holiday and wished peace, love and harmony from the Born Lord Jesus Christ.
The early festive Liturgy was celebrated by Archpriest Vasyl Korovai, Archdeacon Serhiy Boyarsky and Deacon Yuriy Glushchuk.
