The Patronal Feast of the church of Nepedivka village. Divine service in the hierarchical rank

On May 9, 2024, on Holy Thursday and the feast day of St. Nicholas, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar, together with Archbishop Pavel of Khmelnytsky and Shepetivka and Bishop Paisius of Zhytomyr and Ovruch, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the St. Nicholas Church in Nepedivka village, Khmilnyk district. The hierarchs were concelebrated by the clergy of the Vinnytsia-Bar Diocese and guests in the holy orders. During the service, prayers were offered for the victory of the Ukrainian army.

After the Liturgy, the traditional Easter procession around the church took place. Metropolitan Symeon congratulated the Rector, Archpriest Valeriy Kushnir, and the parishioners on the feast of Easter, as well as on the Patronal Feast of the parish.

The Metropolitan also congratulated the founder and benefactor of the parish, Mykola Melnyk, on his name day.

At the end of the celebrations, the hierarchs and clergy took part in the unveiling of memorial plaques in the center of Nepedivka in honor of the eight villagers who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war. Metropolitan Symeon blessed the plaques and addressed the audience.
