On September 2, 2024, with the blessing of Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar, at the invitation of the director of the Vinnytsia Center for Vocational Education No. 1, Valeriy Dyakov the Abbott of the Holy Ascension Monastery, Archimandrite Sofroniy (Chupryna), took part in the celebrations dedicated to the beginning of the new academic year.
The priest addressed the students with a welcoming speech and advice for freshmen who are starting the path of student life. The greeting was followed by a prayer before the start of the academic year. The priest blessed the school administration and students and sprinkled them with holy water.
