Representatives of the clergy of the Vinnytsia-Bar Diocese honored the memory of the victims of the Holodomor in Ukraine

On November 24, 2023, on the eve of the Day of Remembrance of the Holodomor Victims in Ukraine, the city of Vinnytsia honored the victims of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 and the massive artificial famines of 1921-1923 and 1946-1947, organized by the soviet anti-people regime and aimed at destroying the Ukrainian nation. The memory of millions of innocent victims was honored with a minute of silence and the laying of flowers and lighted lamps at the monument to the victims of the Holodomor, which was erected near V. Stus Square.

Representatives of the clergy of the Vinnytsia-Bar Diocese, headed by the Secretary of the Diocesan Administration, Archdeacon Vladyslav Demchenko, with the blessing of Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar, took part in the commemoration of the Holodomor victims together with the leaders of the region and the city, the military, local authorities, members of public and religious organizations.
