On January 6, 2025, on the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar led a festive Divine Liturgy at the Transfiguration Cathedral in Vinnytsia. His Eminence was concelebrated by the clergy, Archpriest Vitaliy Holoskevych, Archpriest Viacheslav Budanevych, Archpriest John Drozd, Archpriest Vasyl Korovai, Archdeacon Vladyslav Demchenko, Deacon Gregory Kerekesha, and Deacon Volodymyr Andrienko. During the Liturgy, prayers were offered for the Ukrainian army. After the communion verse, the Archpastor delivered a sermon.
At the end of the service, Metropolitan Symeon and the clergy performed the rite of the Great Blessing of the water. Upon completion of the rite, the Metropolitan congratulated the faithful gathered in the church on the holiday. Then the Archpastor and the priests sprinkled holy water on the parishioners who came to the Cathedral that day to pray, ask for God's blessing and bless the water.
