On March 17, 2024, in the evening, Vespers was celebrated at the Transfiguration Cathedral of Vinnytsia, followed by a Rite of Forgiveness. Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar prayed during the service.
At the end of the service, Metropolitan Symeon delivered a sermon on the need to forgive our neighbors in order to receive forgiveness from God and to celebrate the feast of the Resurrection of Christ, to which the path of Lent leads.
The Archpastor read the statutory prayers before Lent and asked the clergy and faithful for forgiveness.
The priests and faithful also asked each other for forgiveness.
