On December 6, 2023, the Vinnytsia Regional Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children hosted a festive event "St. Nicholas Goes from Land to Land in Peace!". This year, for the first time, this holiday was celebrated according to the New Julian calendar.
The children asked St. Nicholas for a victorious peace for Ukraine and to save the lives of all the defenders who are protecting their Motherland. The event was attended by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and ATO veterans, who were presented with angelic amulets.
Among the friends and partners of the institution who came to congratulate their young wards was Archpriest Viacheslav Budanevych, a clergyman of the Vinnytsia-Bar Diocese. Along with greetings and good wishes on the occasion of the holiday, the priest handed over sweet gifts to the children. The representative of the Diocese also conveyed greetings to the management of the institution and the children on behalf of Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar.
The children, in their turn, greeted their guests with a concert program, presented everyone with a festive mood and little "Mykolaychyky".
