On December 9, 2023, on the Feast of the Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary by St. Anna, a festive Divine Liturgy was completed in the village of Plyakhova, Koziatyn Deanery, on the occasion of the Patronal Feast of the local church. The service was led by Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar, concelebrated by the Rector of the church, Archpriest Valery Kushnir, the Deanery of Koziatyn, and representatives of the clergy of the Vinnytsia-Bar and Vinnytsia-Tulchyn dioceses.
During the Liturgy, prayers were offered for Ukraine and the victory of the Ukrainian army.
After the Liturgy, a procession around the church and a prayer service were held. Metropolitan Symeon addressed the clergy and parishioners and guests who came to the celebration from the surrounding villages with a service.
With the blessing of the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanius of Kyiv and All Ukraine, Metropolitan Symeon awarded the medal "For Sacrifice and Love for Ukraine" to the head of the Hlukhiv territorial community, Oleksandr Amons, and Viktor Savchuk. The religious community of the Church of the Conception of the Holy Righteous Anna in the village of Plyakhova, Khmilnyk district, was awarded a Diploma of the Primate of the OCU.
