Divine service in the Church of Saints Vera, Nadiya, Lyubov and their mother Sophia in the Hosteviya complex

On May 14, 2024, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Holy Martyrs Vera, Nadiya, Lyubov and their mother Sophia, which is located on the territory of the hotel and restaurant complex "Hostevia", not far from Vinnytsia.

During the service, prayers were offered for Ukraine and the victory of the Ukrainian army over the russian invaders.

The Liturgy was attended by residents of the youth department of the Stryzhavka Orphanage for children with mental and developmental disabilities. They were invited to the church service by the owners of Hosteviya, Oleg and Nadezhda Gladko, who, together with their team, take care of the orphanage.

The young people prayed during the Liturgy and received the Holy Mysteries of Christ, after which they were treated to a delicious festive meal from Hosteviya.

Metropolitan Symeon congratulated all those present in the church on Easter and addressed them with an archpastoral word. His Eminence thanked Oleh and Nadiya Hladko for their good deeds, which they do not only for orphans and the sick, but also for soldiers on the front line and wounded soldiers. Some of the volunteer projects are implemented by Hosteviya together with the Vinnytsia-Bar Diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

At the request of the institution's management, Metropolitan Symeon consecrated the new guest house after the Liturgy. The specific feature of this house is that the income from accommodation in it is used exclusively to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Although the house has only recently been put into operation, the funds raised from the residents have already been used to purchase and deliver an electronic warfare device and four drones to the military units. And fundraising continues.

Having consecrated the house, Metropolitan Symeon once again wished God's help to the staff and owners of Hosteviya and blessed them for further good deeds, including volunteer activities, assistance to the families of fallen soldiers, support of social institutions, etc. His Eminence also assured of the readiness of the Vinnytsia-Bar Diocese to continue to cooperate and do good deeds together.
