On December 5, 2024, on the feast day of Venerable Sava the Sanctified, Metropolitan Symeon of Vinnytsia and Bar celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Transfiguration Cathedral in Vinnytsia. His Eminence was concelebrated by the priests of the Cathedral. During the service, Metropolitan Symeon offered a prayer for the victory of Ukraine and a just peace.
During the service, Metropolitan Symeon ordained a student of the Kyiv Theological Academy, Grigory Kerekesha, to the rank of deacon.
